I just found out about this model from H.B. Does anbody have any information about it? So far I can’t seem to find anything. I’ll most likely need at least three myself for different squadrons and paint jobs.

The latest in a long string of versions going back to 2008. Because of the length of time, there are all sorts of parts available.
The kit sounds really complete with vinyl tires, PE, brass parts (barrel?).

There are a bunch available on eBay for a reasonable price.
I built one a couple of years ago. It was the version with the small turret with 2 .30 cal MGs. The model went together fine, but there’s NO interior whatsoever, so I just painted the multiple clear view ports.
The XM706E2 kit comes with the same basic interior as was in the original M706 kit, with a few extra pieces added for the USAF mods. You can add more details if you like.

There is an Eduard interior detail set hat can spruce it up too.
Thanks, I never heard of this version coming out. It looks like in this one too I’ll have to do a lot of work on the interior. The engine compartment has to be sealed off and the exterior walls detailed, seats added, side padding, and a most likely a floor panel to cover the place where it shows V-150 I think it was and new driver and second seats too.
