The Revell 1/32 Mig-29
Can’t wait to get cracking on this baby - I’ve ordered the eduard cockpit set and a resin K-36 (from the states)

That’s a big one to tackle. Post some pics as you do the build.
Regards, Rick

Good luck Skii , cant wait to see this one , what colours it going to be in ??
I noticed the change of sig picture, so had a feeling a Mig 29 was on the cards.
That is going to one big build!!
Karl
Cheers chaps - I’ll keep you all informed
Just to let you know I snapped this kit up from Antics for £20 !
Sean - I’m probably going to do the standard Soviet Grey/Green scheme - with some weathering thown in [;)]
Well… its here
First thoughts
Oh my god
I wasn’t quite prepared for how big a 1/32 jet is, even a comparitively small one like the Fulcrum.
I’ll just let the pictures do the talking for now… bear in mind I have very big hands!
And just look at the size of this R-27 !!
Dang! That’s quite a bit of plastic! Keep us posted on the build.
Will Do Swanny !
Right then. Work begins.
simple stuff to start with - 15 amp fuse wire for hydraulic hoses on the forward undercarriage.
Wow skii that looks like a good kit , looking forward to more pictures
Hey Skii,
that’s going to be one heck of a build! I’ve toyed with the idea of doing that kit myself, it’ll look great in Soviet colours. Are you using the box decals?
Also, whats the cockpit like in your kit-I’d love to know as I’ve never seen it.
Keep the pictures coming,
Regards,
Darren.
Thanks guys
I’ m stillas yet undecided on the colour scheme Darren, but it will be Russian, weathered and mean [;)] The cockpit isn’t too bad actually, with a little extra work it will brush up very nicely, although I’m going with a resin seat and eduard etched brass detail.
Meanwhile heres the undercarriage after the wash.
