Finished up this awesome Tamiya kit of this beautiful British Infantry tank. So far one of my favorite armor builds. Kit came with either rubber band tracks or the plastic link tracks, I chose the rubber band ones since they are mostly hidden. Paint is all a concoction of Apple Barrel paints.

Nice job on the Matilda. I’ve never built it, but many (many) years ago, when I was in 7th grade, there was a hobby shop right down the street from my junior high school that me and a buddy would hang out after school. I remember a Matilda kit that came with a motor that I always wanted to get, but of course I was in 7th grade, didn’t have much money, so I never did. We stopped hanging out there when one day we went in there, and my buddy saw that a kit he had asked for as a Christmas present was no longer on the shelf. Then the place ultimately shut down, probably because they were tired of seeing these two junior high kids come in, sit there for a couple of hours and never buy anything.
