My first ever model: Tamiya m41 bulldog. Critique welcomed.
I think it looks great, good work.
For your first model, it turned out good! Far better than my first.
Looks great @Bob_Yu - I like the fading of the decals.
Welcome aboard!
Turned out nicely, regardless of the fact that it was your first model. Well done. Looks like you have a good modeling hobby career ahead of you.
Congratulations on your first model. I hope you have the bug and want to build more. Really nice job and some great technique applied in your build. Well done!
Welcome to the forum Bob_Yu! I don’t believe you when you say this is your first model.
You did a marvelous job with it. The paint and weather look really well done. If I had to critique anything, it would be the soldier in the hatch, the positioning is un-natural…too reclined. He’s going to need to see the Chiropractor.
I would like to know a littel more about you. What’s your age, what are your modeling interests, and what brought you to the hobby and this forum? I promise, I’m not looking to steal your identity!

Thanks! i am working on it and i have not finished yet. Thanks for the comments
haha, thanks! @mrb865 I have a friend that is really into modeling, so i got to use his valuable experience (and his airbrush🤣) . I am working on using beige paint near the bottom, to make a mud effect, as this was used in Vietnam (also Korea), which had a ton of mud. Do any of you guys have experiences on planes? I am also working on a f15, which i just started with my friend. I would appreciate any tips!
What manufacturer/scale is your F-15? I did the 1/48 Hasegawa kit a few years back and it went together nicely.
I used a Tamiya kit, a f15 1/72 model.
they are so much harder to put together than tanks
here is a follow up of my bulldog, I have not yet decided it’s background. I have finished weathering (finally). What do yall think!
Very excellent 1st effort. My first models weren’t painted and the glue showed. Anybody remember Renwal models and tube glue? I built their M-41 and other tanks. I think that you’ll have a great future in modelling.
