Hi guys,
Here it is : my finished 1/72 Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vb (from Revell).
Any comments welcome.
Fun to build, nice fit and fine detail for a 1/72 plane.
Only minor: the canopy is in one part.
Cheers,
Jürgen

Overal camo is painted in Humbrol enamels.
All handpainted.

Oh, forgot to say: the figures are from Preisser (from Germany).

awesome spitty…looks great…i love the wing structure…
Looks great! I especially like the yellow leading edges.
Antenna wire is overscale… other than that, look real nice.

Nice clean build, thanks for sharing.
Very nice work on the Spit. Thanks for the peek.
Beautiful spitfire [;)]
Nice paint job, hand painted huh? very nice indeed. Question; Does the box art show a ‘clipped’ wing version? I have seen a Revell/Germany 72nd kit on the shelf but did’nt know if it came with or without the clipped wings parts. If it’s this one, then I will have to pick one up for my collection.
Love those spitfires, thanks for sharing with us![:D]

In the Revell kit you can choose for a clipped wing or a normal eclips wing.
Really good kit, not much filler needed, but bulckhead needs to be sanded down.

Jürgen
Thanks for all your kind comments, guys !!!

Very nice, good work on the figures too. I’m just concerned about how the mechanic in the last picture is going get that bird right side up!
Jürgen,
Very nice job on a beautiful plane.
