My Finished Hawker Tempest Mk.V 1/72 Pt. 2

Ok, here is my fixed picture post.

Here are my first pics of my finished Hawker Tempest Mk.V 1/72 Revell. This is my first (Virgin)posting so please be honest.

This kit was a bit basic with virtually no interior. I made a new seat and backrest, instument panel and added seat belts

and that was about all for the interior as i decided to leave the canopy closed. I also found a rear wheel in my spares

box (Mustang P51D) that I modified as the box one was so out of scale it was’nt funny. Overal I’m happy as I tryed some

new weathering techniques. I don’t know what that line is on the underside front, maybe the camera picks up more inperfections.

That looks pretty good. The main thing you have wrong is the undercarriage. It should be angled toward the front a bit farther. The bottom edge of the doors on the gear legs should be about level with the ground surface.

Overall I’d say it’s a pretty solid build. The only thing that distracts from the model is those over scale rivets, not your fault, but I’d run some sandpaper over them next time to knock them down to size a bit. Nice work, though.
