Hey Ron,

I really like your Texan…!! The choice of markings is very striking and what kit is that? Momogram?

The restoration group that I belong to, we have a flyable Texan that is in the markings of Gitmo Bay just like yours…!!

Btw, sweet drawing my friend… How long did it take you to complete the drawing?

Thank you for sharing…Flaps up,

Mike

WOW! Beautiful model, and superlative drawing! [bow]

Very nice!!!

The flying museum I belong to has a Navy SNJ, which is Texan. I wish it was in this color scheme, but alas, its solid blue.

VERY nice work on the model and the drawing.

Sweet build!

Nice work!!! I really like the drawing too.

The airshow I go to always has a bunch of T-6’s,texan/SNJ/Harvard. I love these planes. I’m starting to get interested in building one after my fortress’s. I’ve never built one or even looked for a kit. Does anybody else make a 1/48 texan besides aliteria(sp?). Someone let me know, I might start looking in to it.

Really nice job, Ronart!! And an accomplished artist too, I see. The T-6 was the companion to the P-51’s we had before the T-33 came along. It is also one of my favorites. Thanks for sharing.

Beautifull job my freind, Beautifull.

Very well done, ronart, both the aircraft and the drawing! You have a wonderful talent! The “yellow wing” scheme is always refreshing to see, and you have done it proud. Also excellent work on the birdcage canopy framing. Thanks for ahsring, looking forward to your next work!

thanks guys, Butz, the kit is an Italeri, monogram made a 1/48 kit, you might catch one on e-bay. i have tha old monogram 1/48 a-t6 miller highlife, I got on e-bay. the drawing, I really dont know how many hours, I just worked on it a little every day, I would guess around 10 to 15 hr. the f-4 in my avatar is an oil painting I did.

I’d love to see more of your work!

The drawing is real nice, and that painting is fantastic. I never got the hang of oils, prefering the acrylic instead. ALways thought about doing a plane, but stuck to painting landscapes and drawing animals. I just may have to break off the dust and have a go.

Really though, I would love to see some more of your work.

Very nice model and drawing! I, too, am a fan of the T-6! Looks good!
