My 1:48 plane collection

I build mostly ww2 German planes but do have couple post war jets as well. Hope you like the pics

Now that’s a really cool collection. Some nice looking builds, there, especially the German birds.

Looks like some fine builds there

Cool collection!

Hey thank you guys. My collection is still growing and soon I’ll be running out of room [:D]

That’s a collection to be proud of! Really like the HE-111H22 and the pair of HO-229’s.

David

Thanks David. The Ho229 is my most favorite plane. I hope the 1:32 version by ZM coming out this year will not be too expensive because I plan to add it to my collection.

That’s a great collection. The camo patterns came out great.

Thanks. You can tell that I like camo planes [:)]

Excellent work on the birds. Love the detail. Who produced the 229 kit? The only one I find where I live is the 1:72 version by Revell.

thanks ssrc30.

The Hortens are made by Dragon (DML) but they discontinued the kits long ago. They do come up on ebay sometime. I got mine on ebay.

Beautiful models!

Stunning builds there. I love what you have done with the Ju 88 camo. And I do like that Natter.

I am with you on the 32nd 229. Though I am hoping that Revell do one as well, given there recent track record.

great builds! very impressive! great bases too, I haven’t quite gotten the hang of them yet. any tips?

Thanks Jim Bish, and Squatch88.

Squatch88,

I don’t really have any advise. Just take your time working on your builds, have good airbrush, and patience. One thing I normally do is checking and reading reviews on the internet for the models that I’m going to build then decide which kits to get in terms of price, fits, and also read up on technique of how other people do camo for their builds…etc…and go from there.

Very nice work cnq. Looks like you’ve got a great start on your own air force!

Very cool! I’m new to this as an adult, and I’m always impressed at just how good some of these look. Thanks for sharing, Raymond

Excellent collection!

Thanks very much for the comments guys.

On the side note, I’m looking to get the Hell cat in 1:32. What would be the good kit to get in terms of price, fit, historically accurate…etc…

thanks again

Your collection is awesome !

I really like your HE-111H22 and your Vampire ! Great birds.

I don’t recognize the soviet plane, is it an IL-2 Shturmovik ?
