My 1:48 Monogram B-25J "solid nose"

This is my B-25J. I started it about a month ago,but right now these are the most current pictures I have. I added the cockpit and bomb bay sidewalls (with a little modification) from the Accurate Miniatures -C/D kit.It may not be 100% accurate, but it looks good. As of now, the model is assembled and has a coat of OD. Hope ya like!

And, as always, any comments, suggestions are welcomed and appreciated.

Looking good so far.[8D] Are you using the kit decals or aftermarket?

Eddie

Looks like your doing a GREAT Build there.

The insides are looking SWEET !

Bud

Looks good Jaypack. Keep us posted.

Regards, Rick

Nice work, I like the details inside the fuselage. Keep us posted.

[:-,] Very interesting! I’ve got one of those in my stash with the same bad intentions. Gun Nose Apache![:D]

Looking forward to your ideas on the nose in particular.

Fuse int looks great; looking forward to more pics.

Looks like a good start, Josh. Got any pics for the “Size Matters” GB or have you forgotten?

Looks like you got a handle on things

Thad

Oh yeah! I almost forgot about all my GBs! thanks for reminding me! I’ll be sure to post some pics this week! (I don’t have any current pics of my B-17 yet.)

I’m still tryin’ to figure out how to take a R/M B-25J and make it a ‘gun nose’. Are there any AM parts that make this work or…

Should I just sand down the claer part nose and paint over it; drilling holes to accomodate the eight 50’s?

Suggestions please.[banghead]

Very nice progress so far, Josh! The IP looks great, and the weathering inside the pit is also well done! What are you using for your washes?
