This is a picture I just scanned from old slides my father had. I don’t know if they will be more interesting on the ship forum or the aircraft forum. It shows how planes were stowed on deck of a merchant ship. The ship is the S.S Bostonian. The year is 1946-47, I’m not sure. The port is Brindisi. I hope you find them of interest. Fred

I put them up again, I hope they stick this time.
God knows I’m not an expert, but I don’t think that’s either a Liberty or a Victory ship, they had bulwarks almost all the way around, not 3-bar railing.
Oops, I just edited this old post because the pics never stayed up. I didn’t know it would go to the top of the page again. Anyway, I think the picture will stay now.
