My stash is far too disciplined to whimper. They stand quietly in their ranks on the shelves and know that they were acquired for a reason, all they need do is wait patiently for their day to come. When one is selected, there is some subdued cheering…only because they know what it means to wait but also because there’s a tinge of sadness that one of their comrades will be leaving them forever. When a new kit is added, they welcome it with open arms but also know that the new guy will have to curb their enthusiasm and learn to be patient and bide their time as well.
