Hi Dave. Please could you tell me whether the static Tamiya 1/16 Tiger 1 can be converted into the r/c version with the addition of the various control units from Tamiya. The reason that I ask is that I live in South Africa and can obtain the static version reasonably cheaply and I could import the r/c components to achieve a working r/c model if it is possible. However if the static version cannot be easily converted maybe I would be better off trying to get the dedicated r/c version. Any advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated! Hello Brian and welcome, as far as the conversion goes,I think it could be done it has the same basic layout and suspension as the RC version.
