Here are some shots of the Accurate Armor M1070/M1000 Super HET that I am building for a customer. It is a great kit. My first all-resin kit, I am very impressed. I thought it was going to be a bear, but it wasn’t at all. It is well engineered and goes together easy. I love it. It is huge as well and full of detail.
looks great HeavyArty. Did you add the brass/PE details yourself or do they come with the kit. Accurate Armor sure seems to make some great looking kits…
Brass PE, chain, plastic rod, metal rod, white metal axles, shocks, and steering arms, a huge decal sheet, etc., etc. all comes in the kit (they all should for almost $600.00). You don’t need to add anything to it. It is an awesome and complete kit.
Looks like you’ve got a good amount done already, HeavyArty. Impressive job so far, to say the least. Thanks for sharing your good fortune at building one of these with us, even if you don’t get to keep it.
Are you using CA or some kind of epoxy to glue it all together? There just aren’t enough adjectives to describe your work.
Using Superglue for the whole kit. It is working out quite well, and I have already gone through 4 tubes of the stuff. I’ve only glued my fingers together a few times!!
Tomzag,
Send me an email and I will discuss it with you and you can give me info for your potential customer. I’d rater not discuss it in open forum, I’ll just say it is not cheap.
Thanks for the sneak preview Gino! I wouldn’t expect anything less then what your pics have shown? Truly top-notch workmanship. Sure wish I had a rich Aunt who could finance that kit for me!!! I’d love to try it. Keep us posted on your progress it’s pretty fascinating watching you apply your artistic talents to your first hand knowledge of this project. Makes my up and coming Dragon wagon look like kids stuff!! LOL. Semper Fi, Mike
Nope, no load on it. I am building it for a customer to give as a farewell gift for a commander who is moving on. He wants it left empty, so it will be.
