More Pics of My Heavy Metal

Hey everyone!

I got some more progress done, so here is more pics showing what I’ve gotten done.

This is my Dragon 1/72 scale Stug IV that I worked on a little more:

Next, I did some work on my Dragon 1/72 scale E-100. It has been going together so fast that I got alot more done on it than I thought I would!

Here’s the hull:

Next, the turret:

And now here they are test-fit together:

These next two shot are of my Dragon 1/72 scale Hornisse. They are the suspension from above and below:

I would’ve posted my Dragon 1/72 scale Nashorn too, but they both look the same right now.

And finally, some not-so-heavy metal. These are pics of my Academy 1/72 scale WC-51 Ambulance that I’ve been building.

Here is the chassis and engine. I got some paint on it before adding the body:

Here is a closeup of the engine. My apologies for the blurriness:

I also got started on the cab as well:

That’s my progress so far, Thanks for stopping in to see these. Comments are welcome.

Very nice progress, as usual. It’d be nice to get a shot of your entire collection one time [:)]

Nice work there Duke!!! You’re on a roll bud!!!

Thanks guys! Yeah, I’ve been working hard on these so hopefully I’ll be able to get more progress pics going. Thanks for stopping in!

There are two pages of pics showing my whole model collection. Enjoy!

Your factory crew is doing a good job, Mark. Hope to see more pics of those heavy metal thighies soon.

Looking good!

Good looking work as always. Those Dragon kits look like they have alot better detail than the 1/72 I’ve done in the past. Looking forward to your progress.

Busy, busy , busy! Looking good Duke. Always enjoy checking the latest status on your factory production. Semper Fi, Mike

Dwight, Thanks! I’m always glad to see you stop in. You’ll have your wish soon; I’ve gotten alot of progress done yesterday. Now I’m stuck because I’m out of dunklegelb.

Thanks Anthony! I’m glad you appreciate my work.

Matt, thanks man! I’m glad you like what you see. Yes, these Dragon kits are LOADED with detail, it’s almost scary! I love the ‘new’ plastic tracks. They glue together well with regular old tube glue and are flexible enough to fit on the tanks with the right amount of tension. Man, I’m addicted!

Mike, I’m always glad to see you stop in! Thanks man for the compliments. I’ll have more pics up in a day or so.

Been busy haven’t you but quality hasn’t been sacrificed for quality.

Thanks cassibill! I’ve missed you on these Forums. Glad to see you again!
