Hi, folks

Some days ago I was watching “Battlefields” on Discovery. Some of the episodes were showing Sir Montgomery climbing out of a light painted (b/w movie [8)] ) car with RAF-style roudel on the motor hud. I wonder, if anyone could tell, what cars were used to carry british commanding officers in North Africa. I’d like to get as much information, as possible :slight_smile:

One of them was the Austin 8hp. If that’s the one you’re looking for, Scale Model Accessories have it in 1/76 and 1/35…

Could it be Monty’s Humber? Airfix made a 1/32 scale kit of it.

2 leopold: I’ve been thinking of that one, but I’m not sure (actually I don’t know) if Humber was also used in N.A. campaign.
