monogram's 1/72 b-1b lancer (bone)

I just a copy of paul boyers article from fine scale modeler oct 2002 “building a better bone”

I am confused on few things, paul mentions using struct stock to correct a few problems what it and where can it be found. Which engine afterburner nozzles are better the f-15e aries or the ones from cutting edge.

lastly does anyone make 1/72 scale jdams bombs and what aftermarket decals are out there for the bone, my search is showing them out of production.

p.s.

does anyone have a copy of squadron/singal book bone the b-1 lancer in action, I can’t seem to located a copy of one

thanks

Strut stock is special styrene that is ready formed with an airfoil shaped cross section. Its mainly intended fro use in biplane models as a replacement for kit supplied components. I remember the article you’re talking about and what Paul used the strut stock for. Don’t bother with strut stock for that, find some normal styrene stock or a flattish piece of scrap styrene from your spares box and shape it a bit with a file or sanding stick.

There is at least one decal sheet for Bones and its made by Fox One. Here’s a link to its spot on the Hannants site:

As for the JDAMs, Hasegawa did include some in one of its more recent air weapons sets, but I don’t recall the kit number.

thanks I concern about the placement of strut stock between the engine nodules, and making an ant. out was not an issue. anythought about the nozzles.
