Thank you too roger wilco! I live in central Texas, just east of Temple and south of Waco. I had cousins living in Pasadena, still do in fact.

The MiG-15 has a real “sports car” look about it, especially posed beside its great rival, the F-86. But the little MiG has an elegance in the simplicity and efficiency of its design I think. I also have the Tamiya MiG-15 in the stash and want to paint in the green camouflage with “squiggly” lines sometimes seen on planes in that period.

The Mig-17 definitely looks like a upgraded Mig-15. Though you should also get hold of a Mig-19 to go with the Mig-17.
