I had this model when i was part of the young model builders club…many many years ago…
I built it during the whole spy balloon over Alaska fiasco…it gave me an idea…since this design was never officially adopted by The USAF…why not a fantasy scheme…so i chose to paint and letter her in the alaskan splinter scheme…what do you think…

Looks totally feasible in that scheme- nice work. Don’t think I’ve ever seen that kit before.

Yours looks so good, I went looking to see if there is a 1/48th scale version because now I want one!

I think Kinetic makes the F-16XL in 1/48, both the single and two seater.

I think you are correct, but I couldn’t find it except for $250 on ebay which is a BIG NO!
