This is my Moebius/ Model King 66 F100 shortbed " Hard Parked" edition. The only oob parts used are the body and interior pieces. She’s been smoothed, shaved, and filled everywhere. I have 3d printed and or purchased 3d printed parts to fully detail my frame dragging addiction.
Paints to be used is the famous GM Daytona Yellow over Fords Wimbeldon White, enamels supplied by MCW Finishes. I will get it painted once I have a new paint booth setup. It’s way too cold to paint anything in this lovely South Dakota weather.
Wow! You have a hot rodder’s heart that’s for sure. This looks a lot like my son in law’s truck, except his is sitting in the driveway in brown primer.
Haha well, thanks. Just wait till you see the other two rods I have on the bench. A Revell 32 tudor chopped and channeled and an AMT 34 pickup with the same treatment. I have to put my touch on everything, nothing is built straight out of box anymore.
I can’t wait to see them!
Nice, love the body style, I’m really interested in your work as I’ve tried kitbashing and tubing and it just never turns out like I want it to.
Love the look of that stance on that F100. I live in Wisconsin and I know what you mean about this weather being crummy for painting.
I like the newer Ford a lot, but I like the older Ford more! I wanted to build a highboy for a long time now - I already ordered a Revell 32, so maybe in 2026…
Good luck with your projects and have a nice day!

Keep building and keep trying. Scratch building and customizing gets easier the more you do it.
Upper Midwest weather sure is a peach.
