This is my work lunch break build, I was contemplating whether or not to even make a post. I guess something is better than nothing.
Last week’s work was the engine. It is a firepower 331 cubic inch monster (for that time). This was the last year for this motor in the 300C. Still some work to do.
Cool build. Motor looks sharp. I’ve done one moebius kit (65 cyclone) and really liked it so I’ll follow along. I’ve been eyeballing the NASCAR version of this kit.

This will be my second moebius build and so far it is pretty nice. I have the K code mercury comet and two other kits in the stash. Looking forward to building them and perhaps getting a few more from this company.

Well I have some progress. Have the front suspension completed. Also have the engine in place, not glued, to check clearances.

Brought the interior home to air brush as regular painting was leaving streaks and just not cutting it.

Not to much done this week. Fuel lines are in place, the exhaust is as well. Axel and leaf springs are set, now I need to attach the shocks.

Looking good @NucMedTech. That paint is pretty slick already. I spray the clear coat then apply the trim and decals. I use Pledge floor polish (previously Future Floor Polish) on top of everything including the glass to seal and protect it all. Our fellow forum members should advise further.
So the clear did okay, had some orange peel effect. Think there was to much humidity in the garage. Wet sand as best as I could and polished it up. Started adding the chrome and used a chrome marker on the trim.
This car looks very good in black. The chrome trim turned out well too. It’s going to be really nice when you get it done. Good luck!
Seem to be finishing kits up this week. Calling the Chrysler done. Another kit from Moebius that I really enjoyed building.
A real beauty you’ve got there- the gloss black really works well with all that chrome and the white interior!
I haven’t built a car since I was about 15 years old, although I’m getting ready to build a WWII Jeep, so I guess I’m getting a little closer. 
What really impressed me with this build was your persistence with the paint finish. With the military stuff I normally build, sometimes if something goes a little sideways with the paint you can work it into the weathering and save the day. On a car like this, that beautiful glossy finish has to be right. There’s really nowhere to hide.
Watching you work through the orange peel, wet sand it, polish it and bring the finish back was probably the most interesting part of the build for me. That’s a really nice recovery.
I’ve also been enjoying those Galleria pens myself. They’re pretty cool little tools, and it looks like you got some really nice results with them here.
