I have been looking around for British tank stowage/ equipment to hang on a tank circa 1980. I thought Verlinden had something, but all I could find was WWII.
i know Accurate Armour has some but it will cost a bit
you could get the Dragon gulf war 1 desert rats for there Bergans and gear
Thanks, Jon. I will check that out
Damnit i did all this searching then read the original post properly . None of the stuff below will work . I need new glasses.

Duesmex, I think that stuff will work fine as long as they ship to the states or I can find a US dealer. Thanks!! (and your glasses are fine- I was looking for modern British stuff)
Well yeah it is british but its post 1980 back then the army were still using SLRs and the fire extinguishers are wrong the tank stowage is wrong too not sure about the bergens tho. Great models stock some AA stuff you might get lucky there.
Thanks. I will be honest, I know nothing about British Stowage, so I will take your word for it. So basically, I am looking for Post WWII, but not modern? Bet that is hard to come by
Its incredibly dificult to find this stuff as most of the interest is in sensitive subjects ie The Falklands or Nothern Ireland.
However I found some stuff mainly figures but some vehicles no stowage tho.
figures here a lot of these especially the guys with sweaters are perfect for 1980

and some vehicles some cheaper than AA some not

I sooooooo want the Stalwart.
If I find anything else I`ll let you know
Well, what I am doing is looking for stowage used by Rhodisian forces in their abortive operation with South Africa during Rhodesia’s 1979 elections. Going to do a T-55. A couple of guys suggested that the stowage looked British. Pics are here. http://home.wanadoo.nl/rhodesia/quartz.htm
Any input is appreciated. Thanks for looking by the way!
Ok well the packs I see on the tank itself I dont recognise , sorry. The boxes etc look pretty original. Some of the infantry look to me to have russian style ammo pouches (makes sense as theyre all totin AKs ) To be honest I dont see any reason to go spendin big bucks on the bergen set or any of the brit stuff. The guys in the pick look pretty merc esque with a mix of equipment from russian to Israeli and some Brit webbing. I reckon you could get away with any similar looking canvas pack from any era as there seems to be diferent uniforms and equipment from all over the place.
Good luck with the build its a pretty interesting subject.
Thanks! Sounds good to me. Unless there are some former Rhodesians lurking on the boards, I guess I wouldn’t get busted too bad for having the wrong stuff, huh?
