Modern Armour Antenna Width?

Hi all

I know that in scale (1/35) the average length for antennae on US vehicles is about 9cm/10cm.

Tamiya states that the challenger 1 mk.3 length is 7cm.

However what is the width in 1/35?

Evergreen sell packs of plastic rod which ranges from 0.5mm all the way to 3.2mm in diameter. Just trying to get an idea of which pack(s) would be the best to get.

PS…generally only building US, NATO and Russian tanks. Perhaps that can narrow down the sizes?

are you talking about the AMU (antennae mounting unit)? I ask because I don’t think you could really measure the width of the antennae. you can buy pre made antennaes and cut them down to match the length of the antennaes, but the width, I don’t think so!

I use 0.20 Evergreen rod. It looks right to me.
