Anyone going to this year’s contest in Orlando?
Pre-registration is underway. There is a story going around that that is the only way to enter, there will be no walk in registrations. I don’t know how this started but it’s wrong. Would that make any sense to not have walk in registration?

I will be there for sure. Couple of other forums folks will be there too. Don’t know about the registration. I don’t enter the contests…just go and enjoy the builds…and buying! LOL!

Hardest thing will be figuring out where to go for lunch! LOL!

I go every year and have several entries for this show. I’m also preregistered and find it an easier and faster process.
The pre registration is to make things smoother but I believe one can register at the show too.

Sounds like we have us a party starting here! Can’t wait to meet and put faces to avatars. LOL. We should have a set time for all the FSM forum people to meet somewhere and say hi.

Just booked our room for Modelpalooza today. Since the hotel is pet friendly, we’ll (me and my wife, Gail) and I will be bringing our guard Chihuahua, Sassy. Sassy will be on the door with me making sure y’all aren’t messing around when you’re coming into the venue.
Technically I am scheduled from 10 to noon but I dont want to promise I can make it for lunch if they need me a bit longer. If I can get away at noon I am in for lunch. There are a handful of resturants that share the same parking lot as the hotel and are walking distance. See you guys there.
This is awesome! I’ll be walking around (buying a stupid amount of models I probably don’t need), so I’ll try to say hi to everyone and see if we can do a big lunch thing. Maybe a group photo and we can post afterwards!
Oh the group photo sounds so cool. I can hang it on my fridge and see who I’m conversing with on the site.
