That thing is a hoss! I love it! My first motorcycle was the same cc as that thing.
Man, I was looking at RC planes the other day thinking it would be pretty fun, but the cost of that hobby is WAY out there! To buy a cheap one to start with, you had to spend $200 extra on a radio, motor, and everything else, but it only took minimal assembly [;)]
I want 2, and stick’em in a DC-3 with retracs…20 grand later I probably wished I didn’t…[8D]

The engine in my first motorcycle was smaller than that thing! 23 H.P? A late 60’s stock, standard VW Beetle was around 38 H.P…$5k?
Man…I have a lot of respect for someone who can pay that kind of money for the motor, another $2k for the kit and all it’s gear, another $900 for the radio and servos…and THEN throw the thing into the air…with the chance of the whole shebang making a big, smoking hole in the ground.
My hat’s off to them.
But it IS quite a feat of miniature engineering, isn’t it?
