Greetings fellow modelers! Boy do I have a problem! I used MM spray enamel to paint all the sprues on my kit and the paint is not drying/curing! I’ve never had this problem before - the paint remains sticky after a whole day. Usually it is dry in a couple hours. Is there a safe way to stip the paint from the parts?
I have heard of using oven cleaner to remove paint but I’m worried it may damage the parts - please help!

Soak them in Simple Green.
I don’t know how well Simple Green will remove those enamels- sometimes it does, sometimes it don’t. It works far better on acrylics in my experience.
Sounds like the sprues were covered in a mold release agent that reacted with the paint… yuck.

I agree withTexgunner ,it may take a bit of time -as its not instantaneous;
Put SG in a plastic container, that all your parts will fit in, pour the SG in until the parts are just submerged, put on a cover and let soak.
Check every so often, brush with an old tooth brush and as the paint comes off put the part aside or re-soak as needed. After, wash with water and let dry
You should not have to change or add more of the SG during the process.
