Anybody familiar with MM Metalizing Lacquer (spray can)? It says to buff afterwards, any tips/ideas?
I use it on a regular basis. It’s good for certain applications. I’ve never tried it on an entire model before and probably wouldn’t. I use it for small engine parts, landing struts, etc. It dries with a slight haze to it and you can buff it. Allow to fully dry (24 hours) and buff with a soft cloth. You will get a good, metallic effect. Or, you can leave the ‘haze’ for a more dull effect.

I’ve only used it on small test parts so far, but it looks good. The link below describes the procedure for airbrush application, but the “buffing-treatments” are relevant to the rattle can also.

Mike McLeod included MM buffing lacquer in his comparative test.
Thanks all, great sites too.
