MiG-29 progress (slayer of dial up)

]

You can see more sanding and filling that I did to get the fron 2 fuselage pieces to fit. Also in the pics you can see the shimming I did to eliminate some gaps. The Aires resin cockpit really throws the already mediocre fit into complete disarray. But now that the fuselage is closed up the fit problems SHOULD (hopefully) be over. Well, hope you like the pics.

Lookin’ good! Great work on the 'pit.

you should change your name [;)].

beautifully done and have fun with the shims.

What does “slayer of dial up” mean?

Nice looking progress so far.

lookin good so far.

how is the aires cockpit detail?

Very nice progress so far. Which kit is this?

Great looking Mig so far so good , what scale is she ,
i’ve just got the revell 1/32 Mig 29

MA cooke, I was just referring to the fact that there are a lot of pics, so dial up might have a hard time handling them. Sorry I forgot to give specifics. 1/48 Aacdemy kit. The Aires cockpit detail is EXCELLENT and the fit is $#%^&%$ S#!7!!! All in all I think you might be better off going with black box or cutting edge or something. This was the only one I could find, and as I said the detail is amazing, but the fit is just too poor. Thanks for the comments everyone.
