Mig-19 required...

There is any good Mig-19 Farmer?, like Dragon or Academy quality… I want an early version of this plane… can this plane be painted like the Mig-15: silver in the undersides and scarlet in the upper sides?

You didn’t specify scale, but Trumpeter has a Mig -19 in 1/48. Not their best kit, but about the best currently available. There was also a 1/48 Mig-19 released by Historic Plastic Models. I’ve not seen it, but based on their other kits I doubt it’s as good as the Trumpeter kit…

Regards, Rick

Trumpeters 1/48 is not very good, but their 1/32 is fine. In 1/72, the only game in town (serious one, I mean) is still KP’s. It’s from the early '80s but it is by far more accurate than any other.

Think Hobbycraft did one in1/48th scale, no idea of thr quality

helicopters don’t fly, they beat the air into submission

I’ve built the Trumpeter MIG-19PM in 1/32. In fact, it’s in my sig below. Anyway, it’s a really good kit out of the box. All I did was add hoses inside the main wheel wells and replace the actuator shafts with metal rods. Even the kit cockpit was really good.

Here’s some links to other pics of that MIG.

These pics are kinda big so I thought I’d just post the link to them.

Bilek has two different 1/72 MiG-19s and they both look pretty good, basic, but workable. Pavla has some aftermarket resin goodies for them as well as vac form canopy replacements.
