It is supposed to go for navy aircraft during the korea war.
is it a model company fancy name or actual color, which fs code it is? any tin code of a major manufacturer? Is it different than sea blue?..gloss satin matt finish?
The insignia blue is the one matching US star and bar blue right?

hi there i saw that kit you got in a 1/72 , the plane was blue , i think the fs number i gave you is right but check it to make sure

It has a photo of a Corsair in Korea. I found that Humbrol 134 is a good match for the photo, but its now discontinued. If you’re lucky like me, a local hobby store will have some dusty tins left. Failing that, Xtracolour Sea Blue (121?) is a good match too. Hope that helps.

Corsairs from that period of time are suppsed to be glossy Sea Blue. Depending on the amount of wear you want to show, depends on how glossy you want to make it. The kit is not a -5N night fighter, is it?
It is the one described in keith;s reply.
Hopefully the color is the same for a “soccer war” corsair since they were ex US planes.
