MG 1/100 Sazabi ver. Repair (its 2nd repair job)

After the little fix up it fell into a hand of evil - I mean, little boy - and suffered some serious damage. He snapped its pelvic joint and left me to find some time later when I was cleaning the cabinet. T_T

anyway to cut the long story short I fixed it by putting the legs in the fixed position - the joint was beyond the repair and unless I got the spare parts there was no way I could repair. Now come to think of I think it looks far better than the stock MG Sazabi… (See the comparison shot with the stock kit) ^ ^

Anyway hope you enjoy. I’m planning to make the base to screw this bad boy so it won’t fall down again

Looks good to me and I like the shading WELL DONE

Bud

thanks!
to be honest I like this repair version. ^ ^
if you ever build MG Sazabi before you know the stock kit cannot do such pose. its legs are too restrictive and unless you do some major modification all it can do is standing without falling over…

I’ve been waiting anothr chance to build MG Sazabi to do such modification but that will have to wait for now…

The Sazabi looks GREAT! Love the wear and tear on it, and I think you’re correct, the stance is better. I have seen the stock kit and it just stands there. I am basing more of my Gundams now, partially becuase tables at contests get knocked and bumped into, and I dont want to walk by and find one of my GM’s laying on its side. I have also run rods into large fishtank rocks for space-based units and that looks great! You can run brass stock into tubing in the feet and this gives you the option to slide it off the base for easier transport.

still looks good!

thanks for the tip! ^ ^
if I knoew this was going to happen I’d built this one as fixed pose with LED mod inside - running 'em off USB cable. I was going to simple screw it down but I will do what you sugest so I can get it off the base in case I need to move it around. Of coz the acrylic box to enclose it would be super but haveing made one for the size cost arms and legs over here… T_T
