Hi All.

I ran out of Testers metalizer sealant and I was thinking of using future sealant to protect the finish.

So this is my question wat are the pro’s & cons of using future as a sealant ?

As long as the metalizer has had sufficient time to cure the Future will have no affect on it at all. However anytime you put a clear coat of any kind over a NMF you do change its appearance slightly. Future being a super gloss, might make it too shiny to your liking. But it can be dulled down.

It will protect the metalizer, as it is notorious for lifting off when masking.

You are pretty much safe to proceed.
