I have built the Merit Models 1/16 scale Wehrmacht 15CN sFH heavy field howitzer and am building the Merit 1/18 Flak 36 88MM anti aircraft gun and I just wanted to say how pleased I am with both models and that Merit has taken the risk to produce both models. Both are well worth money and I recommend both. You can build a great model out of the box or detail them to great display models. If you have picked up these models from your favorite hobby shop, please do so. By the way, I have no affiliation with Merit Models. Only a love for the hobby. I hope, and will buy, more Merit model sin the future assuming they continue to produce Wehrmacht stuff in larger scale.
I built the 88 early this year. Its a great kit and makes a really nice display. It does need lots of scratchbuilding to make it more accurate, but this was a good chance for me to try out something I was new to.
