I like this bird. Have a Pro-Modeler and another different version in the stash. Should really get to work on one of them (or maybe the Pro-Mod ME-110 or the P-38 etc, etc. ) oh well ya gets the message. To many models waiting in the stash. RickM
Where can you still find that kit???
Dunno if this is the same kit, reboxed, but it could be a sign (good) of things to come…

Hey Manny, i think the Promodeller kit is long OOP. Ive seen several being sold at model events over here, 2nd hand.
Check Evilbay.

Giant Pfennig Eagle- I like that!
I’m deeply grateful for the warm reception given to my introductory post- many thanks! As usual, though, I’m running against the clock, so my lovely assistant Fritzi will get this project, um, into gear!
That little sucker would’ve come in real handy when I was building my Short Stirling. I might have to steal- I mean, appropriate the design in the future. [;)]
Oh nice, the popcorn’s done.
Chuk,
I loved the Helldiver you did , I followed it from the begining to the end .
From what I can see so far ,this will be fantatic.

P.s That Frauline is HOT!!
Chuk, you are one inventive and talented man!!!

Your riveter is a nice adaptation of a pattern tracing wheel. I am not 100% certain, but I think that your telephone tool might just be an old example of a tool that is used to lay wire conductors neatly tucked away in a crowded circuit tray.
Was spell bound by the Helldiver postings, will be watching this one like a hawk as well. I dont think of these as Works in Progress but more of a tutorial and how-to, with some great illustrations to keep us entertained. Love it, keep up the great work.
Matt
Very nice chuck!!
Looking forward to watching this one. followed the Helldiver build with great interest. That cartoon ‘Fritzie’ reminds me of an ex G/F of mine. could almost be a caracature of her cept Ellen had bigger… er… blue eyes - if you know what I mean
All the best.
Greg
Loving this already!
Go Chuck go, you da man!
PS
Fritzi is a dead ringer for the current GF. [;)]
Excellent, Chuck, I just got an alert that you started the new build, a great start! You do not disappoint, I like how you even scratchbuild your tools.
And as the others have noted, great characters, especially Marlene (“Zay it viss me, now, poys-mar-layhn-eh”) But here’s a challenge for you–would you scratchbuild and modify the kit figures into your characters? It only seems fitting, that they be there with the final product.
Can’t wait for your next installment!
Brad
Chuck,
You are one amazingly talented person! Thanks for sharing your skills with us mere mortals! Looking forward to the build. I made a “rivet” tool using an old watch gear.
I have to say that your previous build was incredible and I will be watching this one as well.
Since I’m just getting into scribing and detailing your thread is very informative.
May I ask what size that watch gear is?
I have a few sitting around including 2 with dual rows of teeth.
Thanks.
Eric…
Thanks, guys! Wow- look at the time! I’m late for dinner- but don’t worry- I’ll leave you in good hands.
