Me410 A-1: To The Finish! 11/7/10

Thanks, everybody!

It’s been one of those weekends- drained, cleaned and refilled hot tub (yes, I know- life is tough!), fixed drain in lawn, fertilized gardens and lawn, maintained fresh- and saltwater fish tanks- realized hot water heater had up 'n’died. <_< Got a visit form the the Gas Man and a plumber- more to come on that front! Meanwhile, no hot water, but at least we can flush. Today, got ready for impending storms: cleared blocked body drains, soldered rear do-fogger lead, cleaned interior and Rain-X’ed the windows in my MR2 Spyder, etc. Been on my feet all weekend, except for the brief benchtime this afternoon that I document here: Fritzi?

Whoa thats cool errr hot [H]

Chuck ,

This is joy to watch all along .

FRANK C.

Trouble is, I’m starting to feel like a junkie, waiting for my next fix![:D] More please, Chuck. It really is quite stunning, the extent of your work, and totally appreciated.[:D[

Thanks, me Finescale hearties!

I’ve gotten sick and tired of having all these little sub-assemblies taking up space on the bench, so I decided to start sticking everything together. Naturaaly I had to add some details along the way- right, Fritzi?

amazing as always chuck…i was just wondering how to do the trim tab linkage and have now found my solution…keep it up…

Great stuff, Chuck, and even without the green eyed beauty’s invite, I’ll be waiting with baited …er…breaths for the next installment.[;)] One thing, I don’t know if it’s just my computer, but 3 photos, 404,405, and 406 didn’t open…hope I din’t miss the meaning of life or something as important.

great stuff as always Chuk, especially that red haired beauty at the end! [:P]

I quite interested in seeing what you have in mind for the canopy. Until then!

LOL…as usual, another rivetting installment of the Adventures of Fritzi.

I love you like a brother, but you are one insane dude…imagine gladly wishing this much pain and madness on oneself!

You one crazy white man!!!

Keep up the good work, Brother! Can’t wait to see the next installment.

More, more, must have …more.

Great stuff Chuk, always a joy to see your updates. The green eyed beauty is very easy on the eye [:P]

Cheers…

Every post of yours is better than finding the lastest issue of FSM in the mailbox!!! Always looking forward to the next inspiring episode!!!

Good GRIEF Work Chuck [:D[

Sorry the kit OEM canopy is such a mess.

Don’t suppose you’ll just whip up a soldered brass frame and scale rivets, then cut individual clear panels to be mounted in the frame to correct the situation---------Nah -----are you[:|]???

Yeah, what he said.

Regards, PWB.

He might do just that! And scale locks and latches to lock the canopy in place for flight.[:)]

I’d be definitely curious as to how he solves the canopy issue.

Will wonders never cease? Keep up the good work and don’t let Fritzi get too far away. I will be waiting for my next fix…

Wow do I cense a mind blowing episode of Chukw and His Me410 in the near future ?

Thanks, guys! I’ve busy working long hours and weekends on some big and exciting projects at work, so the the poor Hornisse has
been gathering dust. I’ve finally gotten a bit of time at the bench, and I give you sturm, drang and a pair of highly-modified parts. Cheers, mates!

Ah, yes…

The spare watch parts…genius! That’s repurposing I can relate to.

Bravo! A master-build, indeed.

Pfennig needs to switch to decaf…

Beee-utiful work Chuck, is there a certificate to be had for all those that complete your class!? As a side note, I’ve discovered that my old answering machine was a nice source of wire & various bits & pieces. My wife couldn’t figure out why I was pulling the guts out though!
