Some progress pics of the Veltro I am building for the Regia Aeronautica Group Build. Some may not venture over there but thought this may be of interest. I am using the Mike grant smoke ring decals for a couple of reasons. ! is that I am still getting used to my DA AB and the camo is somewhat intimidating, and 2 to me it is no different than a PE/Resin detail…. Just an AM tool . These decals are great. ALPS printed and about the thinnest decals I have ever used. The carrier film is nearly invisible even before putting a sealer coat of gloss before weathering. They really look like they are airbrushed on.

Whoa!!! They look awesome Mark. [tup] I’m not familiar with them, do they do other camo patterns too?

The new Mike Grant smoke ring decals are getting mostly rave reviews, although some purists are quite upset about them. I’m in the camp that anything that makes modeling easier & more fun is great, so I like the idea. Especially in 1/72 scale, you have to be very, very good with an AB to do these well. If decals give great results with less effort, I’m all for it. Yours look excellent BTW.
