this is a fujimi kit, like most fujimi kits. It didn’t come with an engine, so i put one in. inside the belly of this beast is a LS1 engine. Tuners are always doing engine swaps . so why not an LS1
man i wish it was real

Nice kit, I think i’ve read of people dropping LS1’s into RX7’s.
Yup, there were FC3S with LS1 in them. That’s one nice paint job there my friend.
Out of curiosity what kit did you pull the LS1 out of?
Great looking ride, I’ve recently been looking at Fujimi and Aoshima as they have a ton of offerings that aren’t widely done by any other company.
How are the instructions/build up? Are they comparable to Tamiya or are they more like AMT, or somewhere in the middle of the road?
Thanks for sharing![tup]
Hi the LS1 is from an older AMT corvett kit
Fujimi and Aoshima are great companys. i would say almost as good as tamiya. better then AMT
not to bash AMT. Most new tool AMT kits are exellent i have the AMT new 300c ,Ford GT and the Escalade EXT. and all these kits are quality kits.
The only bad thing i can say about Aoshima is the car kits do not have engines. As for Fujimi the few kits I have seen, some kinda have engines. The engines are very basic with only 3 to 5 parts , if that.
So if you like an Aoshima or Fujimi car kit, buy the kit you can always kit bash an engine for it.

Very nice looking build! I have the Bomex RX-7 from Aoishima and it seems to be a pretty good kit, pretty basic with simple detail, but I think its going to be a nice build, if I ever get it back out of the box [:D] There was an FD RX-7 with and LS1 engine in it that was in Sport Compact Car magazine a few months ago, pretty awesome burnout pictures [:-,]
