Matching paint from a video game?

I’m working on a tiny tank - the TKS, which I was originally introduced to by World of Tanks. I was wondering if there’s an easy way to match the in-game default Polish paint to something like Vallejo or AK.

Do you have a graphics program in your computer? Most have a color sampler. The icon is usually an eyedropper. It gives you the RGB numbers of the color. It also sets it as your active color. Yoy can make a rectangle, fill it with that color and print out for a sample. Just load those two images into the graphics program.

Hello, have you found the answer yet?

I would be nice if these posters acknowledged or thanked us for the time and research members do to answer questions they have,or let us know how things turned out,but this guy ducked in for one post and bugged out.

Don’t be that guy,it’s a forum,conversate a little.

Yes, I can help you find a match for the TKS default paint in World of Tanks with Vallejo or AK shades.

According to my research, the base color of the TKS in the game is a dark Polish olive green. Here are some suggested matches:

For Vallejo:

  • Vallejo Model Color 70.924 - Olive Green
  • Vallejo Model Color 70.887 - Dark Olive Green

For AK Interactive:

  • AK Interactive Real Colors RC083 - Polish Dark Olive Green
  • AK Interactive Real Colors RC084 - Polish Olive Green

I hope these matches will help you find the right shade for your TKS modeling project. Don’t hesitate if you have any further questions!
