It’s funny that I’m not really a basketball fan but I love this tournament. The one and done nature of it makes for fantastic games and exciting upsets. I also do our office bracket each year and host a party at the house on the first weekend.
Any other fans? BTW I have Gonzaga going all the way.
I liked college basketball a lot better when they had to stay 3-4 years,play was better,teams gelled,you could follow a team for a few years.Some of my favorite teams
76 Indiana 78 Kentucky 82 Carolina. 85 Villanova. Duke early 90’s Michigan Fab 5,Seton Hall 88
Those were teams,now 1 year and they are gone.
For what its worth,I did 5 brackets for fun picked,Duke,Mich St,North Carolina,Virginia.Should be fun.
Duke won’t make it to the Final 4. I smell a Duke upset. Don’t get me wrong, Zion Williamson is awesome but Duke does have its weaknesses. Somebody will knock them out of the tournament.
However, I am a die-hard Syracuse fan (and a Duke hater), I don’t anticipate them going further than Round 2. With Howard out indefinitely due to Athletic Policy violations, he won’t be a factor.
Duke really doesnt shoot well,everything is a dunk,should be interesting,Carolina beat them twice.
Unless I have a fav team I am following I usually don’t start getting into it until the 16 and always circle the wagons rooting for Big Ten teams I have to hate the rest of the year. Duke is up there with Notre Dame, Patriots, and a couple others that people love or hate no doubt.
Villanova class of '70 so that’s where my heart is but they won’t repeat this year.
All five brackets pretty much shot to hell already.
I’m struggling in my bracket but not out yet. My final 4 are still alive. Some really great games today.

I know nothing about college basketball, although I live in an area with a couple of well known teams (Louisville and University of Kentucky). I do join the bracket challenge at work yearly (can’t win if you don’t play). I’m usually somewhere just above the middle of the pack.
Some great games today! Duke squeaked by again. North Carolina out decisively! I know that busted a few brackets and did some serious damage to mine. Fantastic tournament so far. Rob, Kentucky won in another really good game.
people at work are split between UK and UofL with a scattering of Hoosier fans due to many of them living just across the river.
My kids go/went to UofL, but I really don’t care about either team. I am glad to see local teams do well though.
Excellent tournement. Some of the most competitive games I’ve seen all the way to the final going into OT. So my wife picked Virginia to win it all but somehow lost in my office bracket pool.
Great tournament, if you dont watch I reccomend trying once. Fantastic competition.
