I used the airbrush to spray paint the wheels of my airplane model black. The entire wheel, tire and hub is now black.
Is there a magic trick for masking the tire so I can spray just the hubs leaving the tire unaffected? I mean other than some extremely complex masking tape cutting?
Get a circle template and find the hole that matches the hub. Hold the tire against the template and spray.
[#ditto] This method makes any wheels with hubs soooo easy, especially on armor!

Otherwise you can make your own custom sized masks using thin card or “blister packaging” and a suitable sized drill or reaming tool.
