Mach 2 XF-92

Has anyone seen the Mach 2 XF-92 landing gear? The XF-92 was an in-house project, so they used the nose wheel of a P-63 and the main landing gear from a FJ-1 Fury. However, the main gear did not fasten into the wing, but were hinged into the fuselage with tubes that formed a triangle support system. Thus far I have not been able to find a review of this kit and it is not a low priced kit.

I have not seen that specific kit. But in general Mach 2 are very much short run kits that needs some attention and work to turn in a decent model.

You would be much better served with the Pro-Resin kit from Olimp. Beautiful castings and MUCH more accurate. However, it is is RESIN and if you’re not familiar with building with this material, it could be difficult.
