Well it’s been a while. Hello to all again. I’ve been real busy around the house in anticipation of our first child which is due any day now. However, I managed to squeak this one in and finish it. This is Hase’s 1/48 kit. Extras include a PE cokpit set, gun barrels and pitot tube. This scheme was quite difficult to do. I do not recommend it unless you have the patience of a saint…which I am not. Plus, I used frisket film for masking and it pulled some sections of paint up with it[:(!] Live and learn, frisket is too tacky for acrylics. I spent alot of time patching those areas up. This was not a trouble free build but turned out okay. Comments always welcomed…
Nice job Andy. The 202/205 Macchi’s are some of my favorites. I just finished a 202 myself. The camo is definetly different. I have never seen one with the antenna wire running right from the radio to the tail. Was this some sort of field conversion? Do you have any pics of this aircraft? I would love to see them if you have them. Very well done.[tup]
