Some really nice work, here! I like the Kubelwagen very very much [:D]
Was the tarp on the Kubel scratched? Very nice work, I like the faded look on the Stug.
Question to Model Maniac, Eddie and all.
Would an early StuG III have the inside of the hatches painted Elfenbein or Panzer Grey?
CG on very nice builds MM!
Svenne
The hatches would be Gray.
I like the comment where you say it took a long time for Art Instructor to finish these. Two months. Geeze, is this guy your slave? [:O]
Just kidding…
I don’t know if I would use the hobby as a job as Art Instructor does, I like it as a getaway…
It wouldn’t hurt to get paid to do your hobby now, would it? [;)]
definately not! but I think it would get a little old pretty fast… [:O]
Nice looking StuG! However, you may want to take a look at your tracks; they appear to be installed backwards.
Thanks for all kind comments, compliments and suggestions!
tigerman, the tarp is a kind of cloth (similar to jeans) provided by Revell. “Art Instructor” formerly built the Kubel without MG :
but I want the MG installed so he reshaped the tarp into present position.
Dig that Kubel! This is an inspiration to start on the three I’ve got! (I’ll probably wind up just looking at the parts again and putting it back up on the shelf…“Honey! the sink in the bathroom is clogged again…and the tire on my car has a nail in it I think…can you take a look at it!”)
I’ll say it here too…“when I grow up I’m gonna build models that look like that!” Thanks for the posts!
You’re very welcome! I hope you’ll find some free time to work on your models soon.
PS, If you don’t grow up soon, perhaps your kids will outgrow you…
Beautiful job on the builds.
Many thanks for your kind words!
