Here is my latest, an M7 Bradley Fire Support Team (BFIST) vehicle. I converted it from the Tamiya M2A2 ODS with M2 interior as a base. The fire support station is scratch built with scratch chair, IFSAS computer and printer on top. All that is left on the interior is to fill it full of stowed gear. Turret interior is completely scratch-built with plastic card and bits and piece sof resin. The lower turret tub is from a left over pill bottle. The engine is converted from a Tamiya W. German Marder 1A2 IFV engine (compliments of Paul Truhe, ptruhe). SINCGARS radios from Real Models set (compliments of Matt Leese). The rest is all made by me. The exterior of the vehicle has also been updated and corrected from the info on Pavel’s (Vidnik) site. Hope the exterior comes out as nice as the interior has. I’ll post more pics once completed. It will be in markings of 3ID in Iraq once completed, 1-10 FA. What do you all think.
Looking good so far Gino, you’re really going all out with this one!
Looks good!! Can’t wait to see it after you finish!! I just had a brief introduction to the BFIST here at Fort Sill for OBC. I like it much more than the FISTV.
great job heavy. add in some gear and pesonal items before you close that thing up. otherwise, it looks like a fantastic build. keep 'um komin.
Hey Gino Awesome build so far. Being a forward observer I really can get into one of those. Have seen the Fist V but haven’t had the chance to get into a Bradley yet. Heck the colt team I may get only has G/VLLD thrown in the back of a low top HMMWV.
With all those details, it looks like another award-winner there, Gino. Keep is posted.
Lots of stuff in there, Gino. Can’t wait to see the model completed!
Hey Gino you know Paul? We both live in the same area and often trade kits, and discuss current projects, hes a good guy and real knowledgeable about things.
I see another ticket to Japan in someone’s future. Looks great, can’t wait to see the finished product.
Wow, a very detailed work in progress. Can’t wait to see it finished [:)]
Nice looking start
Thad
Thanks all. Sorry about the crappy pics. My camera doesn’t take good close-ups. I’ll try to get some better ones with a different camera, hopefully.
