One of the types of vehicles that I do like building are recovery vehicles.British ARVs,Churchill ARVs,Grants,Cromwells and of course American TRVs.

I assume that is the Tamiya Lee; was the M31 conversion an aftermarket kit or did you scratch-build it all ?
Couple of technical points.
– The side door hinges were removed & the doors welded onto the hull. The left side door had the vision port removed (blocked by the winch & cabinets); the right door retained the vision port.
– I believe the M31 should have a 5-spoke road wheel; yours appear to be 6-spoke?
And one “operational”:
– I don’t think the duffel/sleeping bag would be stored up under the dummy 75mm gun in that way as it would(could) block the door from opening.
Great work, attention to detail in all the outside storage is just great !!!
At last count there should be 1,399,234 bolts on this version you only have 944,225 bolts…[:D] Just kidding [}:)]. Hey it looks great, and something different every now and then is refreashing.
This one is in line with your other builds, that is to say extremely well done. I do love the busy and cluttered look of the rear deck.

Too late Mike,theres already a local military museum full of my stuff. I walked into the Ashton Armoury Museum one fall day just because Id heard that it was there. I was very disappointed at the modeled military vehicle display that I could see,they were all very poorly done 1/72,1/76 and some 1/35 stuff. I offered my models and my services and replaced the whole museum collection,between 150-200 dios and vignettes,the
curater title they gave me still stands today.

Thanks very much gang,I still take stuff in to the head curator from time to time,especialy when room starts to become a question.
For Brax,the only kit used here was Tamiyas Lee,a very old kit(had it back in the 80s) and a lot of scratchbuilding. The boom I-beam had to be constructed from sheet plastic as I didnt have any plasti-struct stuff to use. The support struts are sprue and yes eraser type material made up a vise that was mounted on the transmission housing.
