M3 Lee and M3 Stuart vision ports

Does anyone know if all of the vision ports on these two vehicles had glass? I want to say yes, as I would think they would. But I don’t remeThanksmber seeing glass on Lulubelle in the Bogart movie Sahara.

Yes and no, it depends on which view port. These older type tanks had little metal shutters that could close the small, open

view port. You can see the white slots where the shutter (not sure of the exact term) could be slid into place on the M3 light tank.

Here are some photo of the vision shutter-thing inserted into the slots. There is bullet proof glass and a metal flap that could close and further protect the view port.

Thanks Rob. Just trying to clean up the pile of kits that were started and never finished for various reasons, modeling related and otherwise. I counted a while back and I think it’s like 13 armor and flying things.
