M24 CHAFFEE in Dien Bien Phu 1/72

Some pictures of a diorama I’ve made 3 years ago. He depicts the assembling of one Chaffee at Dien Bien Phu (indochina ) . The french forces need tanks at this place but the Chaffees were too heavy to be transported by air . The French Légion decided to diassemble the tanks and send it by pieces .Then they were assembled in DBP .

I have took the hazegawa kit and scratch build the engines ,inside hull ,inside turret .

Nice one! And what a cool idea! Keep 'em coming

Very nice lascar. looking foward to seeing to seeing more of you work.

Nice concept.

Rounds Complete!!

Nothing like performing repairs in the field - putting together a whole tank - wow! Excellent work.

Very cool! A nice little diorama, and a little piece of history that I didn’t know!

Very cool idea. I’m always glad to see dioramas that show a new angle like this.

Thanks a lot …[:$]

Very nice one there, Lascar!

Did you scratch-build the interior?

My dad study alot of Le Legion Etrangere, and has told me about this with tanks coming in in parts!

Good job! Looking forward for more [:)]
