M2 Bradley Interior

Hi,

I’m on my second M2 / M2A1 Bradley. My first (many years ago) was the Tamiya, the new one is Academy. Tamy had the interior base colour as a light green. Academy has it as an off white. My searching hasn’t really given me an answer as to which is correct. If a mix is required that’s fine although I’m not a perfectionist…yet.

Tanx in advance.

It has always been a light green officially called “Sea Foam Green”. Many model paint companies have a color called Sky or Sky Type S. This is a British WW2 aircraft color that matches the color very well.

I have several Bradley vehicles at work and have photos of the interiors located in my motor pool gallery. You can access my site through my signature block link below.

Tks Rob. The info is very much appreciated.

I am using Tamiyas XF-21 Sky on my Bradley. From the pics I saw it seems to be a good match.

I used Humbrol # 90 “Matt Beige Green”, on my Bradley. It seemed ok to me.

I havent realy got to see to many Bradley interiors yet, but I have seen a butt load of 113’s. If the colors are the same MM pale green is a good match as well.

The Tamiya kit has a paint mixture formula included in the instructions to produce the light green. It seems to be a good match.

Tanx to all for your replies. I’d be interested in the M113 interior colour question as well. As for the Tamiya formula in the instructions, my first M2 was a long time ago and I didn’t keep instructions at that time. It would be nice if you could d/load kit instruction sheets.

Tanx again and season’s greetings to all.

Cheers
