M1083 Armored Artillery Prime Mover and M777A2 Ukraine

I have finished the M1083 w/M777A2 combo.

I weathered the truck using a couple coats of a dark earth and a sandy wash, then selectively drybrushed on some rust and dark muddy brown.

Some detail shots.

I painted the M777 NATO Green and gave it a couple coats of a dark earth and a sandy wash, then selectively drybrushed on some rust and dark muddy brown. I applied Ukraine flag decals, the 43rd FA BDE patch, and a white cross on each side of the tube. I also show the US markings painted over on the trails.

Here is the gun.

I also added the air lines, gladhands, and brake cable from 3D printed parts and spark plug wire. I made the cable holder near the front of the barrel out of a piece of tubing and some chain.

Some details.

Here they are connected,

This was a fun build. I enjoyed working with the 3D printed parts to make a unique piece.
