The rear lights and reflectors should be red, not amber. Also, it is an M1083 6 wheel ,5ton truck, not an M1078 2 1/2 ton truck, which has only 4 wheels.
Both the 1083 and the 1078 look like they should say Tonka across the front above the grill. The lighting colors gigs mentioned should be an easy fix for Tong MM. He did very nice restrained work on the weathering.
stikpusher, thanks for your kind comments! I just noticed it has more wheels than M1078. Tong doesn’t work for me. He posted this for sale in my FB group at the price of an unbuilt kit, which means modelling is free and it looks good so I bought it.
Very nice build!! I have just a couple of things to day. One is the the weathering is wrong. The CARC paint we use does not weather like that. I gets lighter in color with time and the bolts will usually run with rust. The wiper blades are black and the front bridge class plate is missing the C on top and the numbers as well. Once again a very nice job. Just some things to keep in mind.

Hey Ernest, not only tanks and trucks, I collect warplanes, warships, soldier figures, etc. too. Anything military. I am going to post more trucks and armors built by my regular artist.
