M1025 into a M1114

I am trying to accomplish this w/ Styrenne and sheet copper I know all the major changes like the Armored doors and lower armor but are there any other major changes that should be addressed when trying this conversion also I believe some of them have an external vent for the A/C but is this vent included on all of the M1025’s that were upgraded into 1114’s or just 1114’s that came from the factory any help is appreciated

Converted M1025 to Uparmored (they are not M1114 unless made from the factory) have an external AC fan unit. It sits on the upper portion of the rear hatch. It is two fans, side-by-side with a round pyramid shaped grate above each. They are attached to a plate with a radiator below that sits about 4 inches above the rear hatch. Sorry, no pics.

For an actual M1114, it also has an extended grill that extends about 6 inches forward of the hood, along with the vents you mentioned along left rear where the roof slopes down.

Here is more info on the M1114:

Thanks for the Help Gino , I was waiting on your expertise to guide me on this one, I guess I will try to replicate an M1114 from the factory since I cant really find a Picture of what those dual Fans look like I saw and quick image on Army Newswatch but to fast to get a good look I will also have to extend that grill I didnt even notice that until you pointed that out , I will keep you guys posted on my progress should be an interesting attempt at most.

I did an M1114 a couple years ago for a customer. It really isn’t that difficult to convert from a standard M1025. Just go slow and consult photos, and it should come out nicely.

Good luck.
